Write My Essay For MeI’m studying for my Management class and need an explanation.
Revenue Generation Project (20%)
As online students, sometimes there is little or no connection to our own university sport teams. Do some research on the Facebook page of Troy University Athletics, like the page & keep up with their promotion events throughout this course. They do a wonderful job in sport promotion (which leads to more revenue generation from fans, alumni, and corporate sponsors). Last year as well as this current year, our HSTM 4470 on-campus students got to assist the athletic program during game day & other events to learn the ins and outs of the business side of the department. I wanted my online students to be a part of this partnership and no one could visualize how we could assist. FYI: if you are currently in TROY – You can’t do TROY ATHLETICS for this project. Again, what Troy is doing is going great – look at other organizations.
So here goes:
Attendance is the key to hosting several large scale events no matter where you are located. Troy Athletics does a fantastic job in promoting and coming up with several different “build-up” events that support the main revenue generating component of our football games.
Some of these are:
- Troy Fan Day
- Trojan Tour
- Troy Women’s Football Clinic
These events highlight the players and coaches, promotes the sport, help various demographics have a deeper connection and level of understanding of everything that goes into having a successful football program, etc.
For this assignment, I want you to look in your surrounding area at any sports team (of any division) and see what they are doing for this type of promotion. What events (brief description or photo) are they hosting, follow and report the engagement of their social media pages, peruse their website and critique it, and highlight the top three events/promotions/gimmicks that you are seeing out there that they are doing successfully. Make sure to update any COVID-19 modifications that may have been made recently to these events!
Summary
This doesn’t necessarily have to be a sports team, you may explore and brainstorm ways in which revenue could be generated for MWR at your base, a non-profit organization, highlight what a Convention & Visitors Bureau may be doing well, or some other HSTM related entity. Make sure to update any COVID-19 modifications that may have been made recently to these events!
A great deal of follow-up and research will need to be conducted.
While there are technically no wrong ideas, credit will not be given for an idea unless it was thoroughly researched and justified. This includes financials that have been “vetted” by the appropriate experts in that field. While interacting with any professional in your area, please be respectful and explain this is for a class project and may not be able to come to fruition.
The presentation can be power point or a written paper (1,200 word minimum/16 slides). This project should be detailed as it relates to the origin of the ideas, practicality/reality of the proposed revenue generators, implementation. The use of a mission statement, goals, objectives, strategy, tactics, and roles is highly encouraged.
The criteria for the project will be as follows:
_____ (15 points) brief description of another university or sport organization in a city/town closest to you.
_____ (20 points) Content to include APA citations*(see below), social media & website review, top three events/promotions/gimmicks.
_____ (5 points) PowerPoint presentation or written paper (1,200 minimum words/ 16 slides – not counting title & references).
_____ (40 points) TOTAL
For full credit, please follow the required guidelines: For paper submissions: all should be written in a double-spaced, 12 pt font w/ 1” margins and should be at least the minimum word count assigned. All titles and references are not to be counted in the required length. The header should read [Student Name HSTM 4470 ASSIGNMENT #1]. The power point should be detailed and no just bullet points, make sure the content is as strong as a written paper would be on content.
