Write My Essay For MeThe book arts continued to thrive in the Romanesque Period. Like in the Early Medieval era, manuscript production in the Romanesque age continued to be largely the responsibility of monastic scriptoria under the supervision of monks.
These Benedictine monasteries were the centers of education and religious studies. The books produced during this time, reflect the interests of the scholars and monks who lived there. While the majority of texts produced were replicas of religious texts, other books were produced as well.
One of the most intriguing writers of the era was Hildegard von Bingen, an Abbess of a large convent built near the town of Bingen in modern-day Germany. She wrote several books but the best known is called the Scivias (Know the Ways [Scite vias] of God).
At a young age, Hildegard began to have visions. As the daughter of an aristocratic family, she was placed into the care of the church to become a nun. There she became very well educated, and knowable, and ultimately became a counselor to the Pope, as well as to kings and other people of great power. At the age of about 40, God told Hildegard to disclose her visions to the word which she wrote down in her book the Scivias.
This is just the beginning of this fascinating Abbess who was a composer, botanist, leader, and mystic. In this discussion, you are to do your own research on this extraordinary woman. Write a post of at least 5 thoughtful sentences free of grammatical errors and proper use of capitalization and:
