Write My Essay For MeDEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY
Many adults nowadays grew up with social media through their adolescence years. It is not uncommon to hear of someone in the public eye getting in trouble for things they posted (i.e. posting dangerous/illegal behaviour, inappropriate content, content that is not politically correct (etc.) on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) when they were younger. Given the current “cancel culture”, do you think someone should get in trouble for something the said/did when they were adolescents? Should they be held responsible for their actions and punished (be “cancelled”)? Why or why not?
You do not have to base your paper on specific acts or a specific post. You are free to come up with an example of your choice or speak more generally and give a few examples to illustrate your point.
Discuss the relevant physical, cognitive, and/or social aspects of development during adolescence and argue why or why not an adult should get in trouble, or “cancelled” for something they did when they were adolescents. (To provide some context, imagine the person is now 25 years old and the troubling behaviour was made when they were 16).
You should cite and summarize at least three peer-reviewed journal articles in your paper (above and beyond textbook and lecture material). It would be helpful to go into some details and describe a bit of the methodology used by the authors (of the peer-reviewed source) to explain how they came to conclusions which support your answer. This is a big part of the marking rubric as it serves as an example and helps support your answer!
Page formatting and citations must adhere to APA 7 style guidelines (see Perdue Owl website and student sample paper – https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_

There is a student sample paper on this site that is particularly useful to compare my own work with to make sure I have included all the necessary elements). Points will be taken off for errors.
Your paper should be 4-5 pages. The abstract, title page and references do not count in the 4-5 pages.
Points will also be taken off for repeated and/or glaring grammatical / spelling errors.
Please make use of the feedback you got on the first paper and take the time to review the rubric. For more information on Cancel Culture check on this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancel_culture
